A Hundred Acre Woods is a full day program, 5 days a week, year-round!
Full Day Curriculum
At A Hundred Acre Woods we believe that the development of a child mentally, socially and academically benefits strongly from a full-day curriculum. There are no abrupt interrupts, allowing the child to experience a full day of learning and play, and getting acclimated to the pace of a school day as they move on.
Year-Round Care
In pairing with a full-day curriculum, we believe it is most beneficial for a child to be in our program year-round, Monday through Friday, to allow them to progress in their learning more easily. Additionally, they are better able to maintain a routine.
New Monthly Themes
We utilize the “Experience Early Learning Curriculum” which introduces a new theme every month. Each monthly theme has four exciting investigative studies with a new topic to dig into each day!
Meet the owner, Noreen!
I first started family daycare when my own children were young. I then went on to help my husband run his business only to miss doing what I love best - childcare! December 2023 is ten years since I have returned and it is wonderful developing relationships with the families here and being a part of their children’s growth.
